Town of Yarmouth

Clean Energy Resiliency Strategy and Planning

  • Rivermoor Energy and our engineering partner, Weston & Sampson, created the clean energy resiliency strategy and plan for Yarmouth’s Regional Septage Plant & Transfer Station Campus and Fire Station – Emergency Operations Center facility.
  • Yarmouth funded this planning project through the Massachusetts Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Action Grant program.
  • Rivermoor managed a comprehensive financial analysis and created a strategy to finance the project as a service contract with no capital investment by the Town as part of the project planning process.

“The Town of Yarmouth worked closely with Rivermoor Energy to develop a clean energy resiliency strategy and plan for the Town’s mission-critical Regional Septic Treatment – Transfer Station Campus and Fire Station / Emergency Operations facility. We are pleased to work with Rivermoor to successfully create an actionable strategy that will make the Town more resilient to increasing climate-driven storm impacts, lower our operating cost structure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. “
